一、界说及用法：

对照两个或两个以上的人或物时，就必须用形容词的对照级和最高级。形容词最高级前须加定冠the，副词最高级前可省略the。

二、组成：

（1）单音节词和部门双音节词

第一组：

high–higher/ highest ， short–shorter/ shortest

strong–stronger/ strongest， slow– slower / slowest

组成一：直接加-er/-est. （记着一个字“直”）

第二组：

nice–nicer/ nicest close–closer/ closest

wide–wider/ widest large–larger/ largest

组成二：去e再加-er/-est. （记着一个字“去”）

第三组：

big–bigger/ biggest thin—thinner/ thinnest

hot–hotter/ hottest fat–fatter/ fattest

组成三：以辅元辅末端的词，双写末尾辅音字母再加-er/-est. （记着一个字“双”）（至于什么是辅元辅，我们在前面的课本里详细讲过两三次，人人可以再去温习一下。）

第四组：

easy–easier/ easiest funny–funnier/ funniest

heavy–heavier/ heaviest lucky–luckier/ luckiest

组成四： 以辅音字母加-y末端的，改-y为-i再加-er/ -est.

以上四种组成方式可以总结为四个字：“直去双改”。

（2）部门双音节词

friendly（友好的）→（对照级）more friendly/friendlier

→（最高级）most friendly/friendliest

lovely（可爱的）→（对照级）more lovely/lovelier

→（最高级）most lovely/loveliest

有四个形容词（cruel, strict, friendly, clever）的对照级和最高级有两种差别的形式，即在词尾加-er/ -est或者在词前加more/ most都可以。

（3）多音节词

important→（对照级）more important →（最高级）most important

beautiful（漂亮的）→（对照级）more beautiful→（最高级）most beautiful

interesting（有趣的）→（对照级）more interesting →（最高级）most interesting

intelligent（有智慧的）→（对照级）more intelligent→（最高级）most intelligent

dangerous（危险的）→（对照级）more dangerous→（最高级）most dangerous

组成：多音节词变对照级时在词前加more, 变最高级时加most.

（4）形容词的对照级和最高级的不规则转变

①坏/病：bad/ ill→（对照级)worse→（最高级）worst

两多：many/ much（对照级）more→（最高级）most

两好：good/ well（对照级）better→（最高级）best

②小（少）的：little→（对照级）less→（最高级）least

年长old→（对照级）older/elder→（最高级）oldest/eldest

（older,oldest用于对照级，最高级结构；elder,eldest不用于对照级最高级结构中，后加名词，作定语，用自家兄弟姐妹中心岁数巨细，好比兄弟三个，年老可以翻译为“eldest brother”，二哥“elder brother”。）

远点：far→（对照级）farther/further→（最高级）farthest/furthest

（father指时间和空间上的远；further指水平上，“进一步”）

三、形容词，副词对照级的句型：

吸引眼球的烧烤店名，盘点让人过目不忘的烧烤店名

A+ is / v-(e)s + 形容词/副词 + than+ B.

China is larger than any other country in Asia.

方式调拨：见到对照级就想到than, 看到than就要联想到对照级。

（1）、升级对照

当A > B 时，用 A+对照级+than +B 来示意。如：

我的房间比你的小。 My room is smaller than yours.

她到那里比我早。 She got there earlier than me.

（2）同级对照

1）当A = B 时，用 as+形容词/副词原级+as 来示意。如：

她和我一样高。 She is as tall as me.

他起床和他怙恃一样早。 He got up as early as his parents.

2）当对as…as结构举行否准时，用 not+as+形容词/副词原级+as… 来示意。如：

我没有你幸运。 I am not as lucky as you.

他学习没有Mary耐劳。 He doesn’t study as hard as Mary.

（3）降级对照

在示意一方水平不如另一方的时刻，用 A+less+形容词/副词原级+than +B 来示意。如：

秋天不如炎天热。 Autumn is less hot than Summer.

Tom跑得没有John快。 Tom runs less fast than John.

（4）其它对照级句型

1）示意“越来越……”时，用 对照级+and+对照级 来示意。如：

你的英语变的越来越好了。 Your English is becoming better and better.

2）示意“越……就越…”时，用the+对照级，the+对照级来示意。好比：

你越年轻，学英语就越容易。The younger you are,the easier it will be to learn English.

你吃得越多，你就越胖。The more you eat, the fatter you will be.

四、最高级句型：

（1）A + be + the 形容词最高级 + 示意局限（in/of介词短语）

（2）A +实义动词 + (the) 副词最高级 + 示意局限的of/in介词短语

（3）主语（sb./ sth.）is the +形容词最高级+名词+that+主语+have/ has+过去分词+…

（4）常用句式

① Who/ Which…+ 最高级…, A, B or C ?

②one of +the +形容词最高级 +名词复数形式，意为“最…之一”

③序数词后跟形容词最高级
